Garlic Butter Shrimp
Report
Shrimp is tossed in a garlic butter sauce and cooked until juicy and tender!

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 ½ pounds large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons butter softened
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
- Toss shrimp with lemon zest and salt & pepper to taste.
- In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add shrimp and cook 1 minute.
- Flip over, add butter and cook 2-3 minutes more or just until cooked through.
- Remove pan from heat and sprinkle with parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Be sure to prepare all of your ingredients before you start cooking as this recipe comes together fast!
- Do not overcook shrimp.
- Option: add some heavy cream with the butter to create a creamy sauce.
- If adding veggies to make this a complete meal, ensure your veggies are pre-cooked, roasted or steamed.
