Get the Recipe: Whole30 Burger Bowls

These Whole30 Burger Bowls have so many great flavors and textures! These bowls have all the traditional flavors of a burger but they are deconstructed. This is a great Whole30 ground beef recipe for lunch or dinner. They are totally customizable and great for entertaining too!

Ingredients

Burger Bowls

  • 4 pieces Bacon
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic 
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 head lettuce I used butter lettuce
  • 1/4 red onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup Baby tomatoes
  • Pickles

Whole30 Spicy Mayo

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce or hot sauce

Instructions

  1. First, make the bacon. Add bacon to a skillet over low medium heat and cook until crispy.
  2. Remove bacon to paper towel and discard all but 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in skillet.
  3. Then, add chopped white onion, ground beef, sea salt, pepper and garlic to the pan. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until meat is browned and crumbly.
  4. Next, assemble bowls. Add lettuce to 4 bowls. Top with ground beef mixture, bacon, and desired toppings.
  5. To make the spicy mayonnaise, simply combine mayonnaise and buffalo sauce.
  6. Finally, top burger bowls with Whole30 Spicy Mayo.

Notes

  • Ground turkey can be used in place of ground beef.
  • The topping possibilities are limitless!
