Greek Yogurt Dip

This easy Yogurt Dip is made with a few ingredients and can be put together in just 5 minutes. It is fresh, creamy and flavorful, perfect to enjoy with veggies, fries or as a topping for kebabs.

  • 1 cup yogurt plain full-fat, can also use greek yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon thyme I used dried
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Take a cup of yogurt and whisk it.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme to the yogurt.
  3. Then add salt to taste along with a pinch of pepper. Add olive oil and lime juice. Whisk all the ingredients together until they become creamy.
  4. Enjoy this creamy healthy yogurt dip!

Notes

  • Storing: You can make this ahead and refrigerator for 3-4 days. Do not freeze. 
  • Variations: 
  • Using this dip: Dip in fresh veggies such as carrots, cucumbers and celery. If you love making salads, just drizzle this dip as a dressing. Top it on shwarma or kebabs. Or top it over grilled veggies such as brussels sprouts or burrito bowls.
  • You can add a freshly minced garlic clove with the thyme, and onion instead of garlic powder.
  • Add chives, dried dill or parsley to make this dip more flavorful.
  • You can substitute apple cider vinegar instead of lime juice.
  • Make this dip into a greek yogurt dip by using rich and creamy greek yogurt.
  • If you want to add some heat to this dip, add some fresh jalapenos. You need to use a food processor or blender to mince the jalapenos well before adding it to the yogurt.
