Grilled Thai Beef Salad

Grilled Thai Beef Salad features marinated sirloin steak seasoned with miso paste, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and fresh ginger. After grilling to charred perfection and resting, the steak is sliced and served over a fresh Thai salad mix with cubed avocado and mango, offering a balance of savory, sweet, and spicy flavors.

Description

The recipe begins by marinating a top sirloin steak in a blend of white miso paste, honey, reduced-sodium soy sauce, sriracha, fresh ginger, and hot water. This mixture imparts umami, sweetness, mild heat, and aromatic ginger notes. After at least one hour and up to overnight, the steak is grilled over high heat to achieve a charred exterior, then rested to retain juices before slicing. The salad combines a ready-made Thai salad kit with fresh cubed avocado and mango, adding creamy texture and sweetness. The sliced steak is arranged atop the salad, creating a dish that balances smoky, sweet, and tangy flavors with the freshness of salad greens and fruit. This can be served as a light main course or an elegant salad entrée.
