Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- metal rack that comes with the Instant Pot

Instructions
- Place the metal rack in the bottom of the instant pot. (the one that came with it)
- Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the pressure cooker.
- Place eggs carefully on top of the rack.
- Seal the top on tightly and turn top knob to seal the cooker to high pressure.
- Set the manual cooking time to 5 minutes (by pushing the manual button and adjusting the timer to 5 minutes)
- After cooking , set a timer for 5 minutes and let the pressure release naturally.
- Then quick release the remaining pressure by placing a towel over the top knob and turning it.
- Carefully remove the hot eggs and place them immediately in a bowl of water full of ice. (aka ice bath)
- After 5 minutes, you can easily peel the eggs.
Notes
- For Medium Eggs reduce cook time by 1 minute
- For Extra Large Eggs increase cook time by 1 minute
- For soft boiled eggs reduce cook time by 2 minutes on all sizes.
