One Pot Creamy Sausage Gnocchi

Easy one pot creamy sausage gnocchi recipe makes a quick and delicious dinner!

Ingredients
- 16 ounces ground Italian sausage
- 1 cup diced onion
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- ½ cup dry white wine
- 28 ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 16 ounces potato gnocchi
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Add the Italian sausage to a large skillet.
- Cook over medium-high heat, stirring to break up the sausage as it cooks.
- Add the onion and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in garlic, and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the white wine and Italian seasoning. Cook, stirring the entire time, for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the diced tomatoes with juice, cream, and gnocchi.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for about 5-6 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue to cook until the gnocchi is cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Serve topped with grated parmesan cheese.
Notes
- Italian sausage: Mild or hot will work. If you can't find ground Italian sausage, you can use Italian sausage links with the casings removed.
- Diced tomatoes: You can also use diced tomatoes with garlic and onion or Italian diced tomatoes.
- Heavy cream: Heavy cream is sometimes called whipping cream or heavy whipping cream.
