Yum Yum Sauce Recipe (Easy!)

Yum Yum Sauce is a creamy, seasoned sauce made from mayonnaise, tomato paste or ketchup, melted butter, and spices including garlic powder and smoked paprika. Water and sugar balance the flavors and adjust consistency, while optional hot sauce adds a mild heat. Blended until smooth, the sauce is chilled to develop flavor. It is commonly served as a dipping sauce or condiment with grilled foods and seafood.

Description

This Yum Yum Sauce is made by blending mayonnaise with tomato paste, melted butter, garlic and onion powders, smoked paprika, water, sugar, and optional hot sauce. The combination yields a creamy sauce with a lightly smoky and mildly sweet profile. The garlic and smoked paprika provide gentle depth, while the tomato paste contributes a subtle tang and color. Water and sugar balance thickness and sweetness respectively.

Once blended, the sauce benefits from chilling for at least an hour to let the flavors harmonize. Its creamy texture makes it suitable as a dipping sauce or accompaniment for grilled meats, seafood, vegetables, or rice dishes. Variations can be made by adjusting sweetness or heat levels according to personal preference.
