Ingredients
For the Smoothie:
- 1 apple with skin!
- 1 banana use 2 Bananas if they are small
- 1 inch Ginger Fresh fresh and peeled
- Ice cubes
To Garnish:
- chia seeds
- Banana slices
Instructions
- Wash your apple well. Cut into quarters and discard the seed core. Place into your blender jar
- Add the peeled banana to the blender jar as well
- Cut the piece of ginger, which you need form the root. Peel your ginger pieces, rinse through water and cut it into slices or cubes.
- Add the ginger to the blender jar with the ice cubes
- Blend until smooth so that you don't have any fruit pieces left. Use a proper blender like the Vitamix to do that.
- Fill a glass with the smoothie and garnish with fresh banana slices and chia seeds.
- Enjoy your apple banana smoothie with ginger cooled as soon as possible. The smoothie will turn quickly brown, which is ok.
