Breakfast Pizza

Brimming with cheesy eggs, hearty veggies, and BACON, Breakfast Pizza is the ultimate breakfast dish! It's SO quick and easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 5 lices Bacon
  • 1 pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 small green bell pepper seeded and chopped
  • 1 small red onion peeled and thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 green onion thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and leave the pizza crust on the counter to warm up.
  2. While the oven heats, cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat. Once crispy, transfer on a paper towel lined plate. Let cool and then crumble bacon. Discard grease and wipe out skillet.
  3. Press pizza dough into a rimmed baking sheet.
  4. Brush crust with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic. Place in oven for 7 minutes.
  5. Crack eggs into a bowl and whisk with milk. Pour into the cleaned skilllet and scramble over medium heat.
  6. Once pizza dough has partially cooked, layer with eggs, bell pepper, onion, bacon, and top with cheddar cheese.
  7. Return to oven and bake for another 7 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
  8. Cut into 8 slices and top with sliced green onion. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • I like to use green AND red bell peppers for this pizza. I chop the red peppers and slice the whole green pepper to make rings.
