Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Once melted, add the halved garlic cloves to the butter and saute them for about 2 minutes, or until they become fragrant. Strain out the garlic and discard.
- Stir in the Frank's hot sauce, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasonings according to your preference if needed. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Add the shrimp to a large bowl and pour the prepare sauce in, reserving about 3 tablespoons. Mix until all the shrimp are evenly coated, then arrange them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake the shrimp for 7 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven, flip the shrimp over and brush with the reserved buffalo sauce, ensuring they are well coated.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and continue baking for 3 minutes or until they are cooked through and curled.
- Serve with celery, ranch and blue cheese, if desired.
Notes
- The buffalo shrimp can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Do not freeze the shrimp as it does not keep well.
