Thick and rich with balls of cookie dough mixed in, this cookie dough protein smoothie bowl is a delicious, dairy-free way to fuel up.

Ingredients
For the smoothie
- 1 banana frozen
- ½ cup Vanilla vegan protein powder
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons coconut milk from a can
- 4 Ice cubes
- 4 tablespoons water as needed
For the cookie dough balls
- ¼ cup almond flour
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions
- If using, mix together the cookie dough ball ingredients until combined. Portion into 6 small balls with a trigger ice cream scoop. Pop into the fridge.
- Combine the ingredients in a high powdered blender.
- Blend until smoothie.
- Portion into a bowl.
- Top with the cookie dough balls and other deliciousness.

Notes
- Roll the balls of cookie dough first and pop them in the fridge or freezer while you make the smoothie.
- Frozen bananas is one of the hacks to thick smoothies. If you’re using fresh bananas the texture won’t be the same.
- Only as water as needed and add it in only one tablespoon at a time. This way you keep the thick texture of the smoothie bowl. Use a tamper as needed.
- You can scale the calories back by eliminating the cookie dough balls.
