Instructions

Prepare the Breadcrumbs

  1. In a frying pan on medium heat add the butter. Heat until fully melted. Add in the panko bread crumbs. Stir often, until lightly toasted and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the dill and remove from the pan.

Prepare the Dip

  1. In a medium sized bowl add the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until evenly combined.Tip: ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature and soft to the touch. You can microwave it on a microwave safe plate for 15-30 seconds. It needs to be soft to be able to stir the dip together without lumps.
  2. Add the chopped dill pickles, Ranch seasoning mix, and pickle juice to the bowl and stir until evenly combined.

Assemble and Serve

  1. If serving the dip immediately, spread the dip into a serving bowl and top with the breadcrumbs. Garnish with the additional diced pickles and dill. Serve with chips, baguette, crackers, or pita bread to dip and enjoy!
  2. If preparing in advance. You can prep the dip and store in the fridge until ready to serve. Spread the dip into a serving platter, cover with plastic wrap and store in the fridge. Store the prepared breadcrumbs in an air tight container at room temperature. This prep can be done up to 3 days in advance. When ready to serve, remove the dip from the fridge, give it a stir and then top with the breadcrumbs. Garnish with the additional diced pickles and dill. Serve with chips, baguette, crackers, or pita bread to dip and enjoy!
