High Energy Mango Avocado Smoothie

Refreshing, creamy, and made with only 6 ingredients. This avocado mango smoothie is made without banana but packed full of energy.

  • Juice of one orange roughly ⅓-1/2 cup
  • 1 cup Mango frozen
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 Ice cubes
  • ½ avocado
  • ¼ cup vanilla protein powder
  • ¾ cup almond milk

Instructions

  1. Juice the orange and add it to the blender. Add remaining ingredients.
  2. Pour in the almond milk.
  3. Blend on high until fully combined.

  • depending on your blender you may need to add additional water as this shake becomes nice and thick!

  • This smoothie is delicious as is but you can also top it with coconut whipped cream or homemade granola.
  • Frozen spinach blends smoother than fresh spinach but both will work.
  • Pea protein powder will absorb more liquid and make the mango avocado smoothie thick. Whereas a coconut or blended protein like Orgain will give a sweeter taste but not absorb as much.
  • To make this energy smoothie paleo and whole30-approved, sub in collagen powder for protein powder. You may wish to add a date to the mix to counter any flavor differences as collagen powder is flavorless.
