Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs (Easy to Peel)

Perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs in an Instant Pot from medium-soft to well done. Enjoy as a snack or add to your favorite recipes.

Ingredients
- 6-12 large eggs
- 2-4 cups ice
- cold water
Instructions
- Place wire rack in bottom of the Instant Pot.
- Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot.
- Layer eggs in a single layer on top of the wire rack.
- Cover and close vent. Set timer for 5 minutes for medium-hard boiled eggs on manual setting ** see notes for additional cook times.
- Cook then manual release when the alarm sounds.
- While eggs are cooking, prepare an ice bath by adding ice to a large bowl and filling with cold water
- Immediately add eggs to ice bath and let them cool in the ice bath for 10 minutes.
- Peel and serve or store in a sealed container for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Cooking times depends on how you liked your eggs cooked:
- A 8 quart Instant Pot will fit 12 eggs.
- Medium-Soft Hard Boiled Eggs - Cook for 4 minutes
- Medium Hard Boiled Eggs - Cook for 5 minutes
- Hard Boiled Eggs - Cook 6 minutes
- Well Done Hard Boiled Eggs - Cook 7 minutes
