Pumpkin hummus is the perfect fall snack or dessert! Served with cinnamon sugar pita chips or apple slices, this sweet, yet healthy recipe is super easy to make in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients
- 29 ounce can garbanzo beans chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons Tahini
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- ½ cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice click the link for my homemade recipe
Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips
- 4 pieces pita bread
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions
Pumpkin Hummus
- Place all of the ingredients for the pumpkin hummus in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Place in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes to chill before serving.
Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Slice each piece of pita bread into 8 triangles, for a total of 32 triangles or "chips".
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
- Toss the pita chips with the melted butter, then the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Spread the cinnamon sugar pita chips out into an even layer on a baking sheet.
- Place in the oven and bake for 6-8 minutes.

- Pumpkin hummus will stay good in the refrigerator for 5-7 days, if stored in an airtight container.
