Ingredients
Patties
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
- 2 tbsp oil avocado or olive, for frying
Sauce
- 1 large onion diced
- 1 lb mushrooms sliced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Patties
- Place all beef patty ingredients together in a bowl. Use your hands to mix everything together.
- Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal parts. Shape each one into an oval shape.
- Preheat a deep skillet on medium-high heat with oil. Brown each patty on all sides and set aside.
Sauce
- In the same pan, sauté onions until lightly golden.
- Add the mushrooms and continue cooking until they are golden.
- Add in the butter and flour and cook for a few minutes. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the liquid is perfectly creamy.
- Add beef patties to the sauce, and simmer for 5 more minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy.
