Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

Sweet and Sour Kielbasa is a delicious recipe that combines sweet peppers with tart pineapple to create a flavor explosion. It’s baked to perfection in the oven with minimal prep time.

Ingredients
- 2 oz packages kielbasa sausage sliced
- 1 red onion chopped
- 1 red bell pepper chopped
- 20 ounce can pineapple chunks drained
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- To a large mixing bowl combine your ketchup, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
- To the bowl add the kielbasa, onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper and pineapple chunks.
- Stir everything to combine.
- Add everything to a 9x13 baking dish.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring once or twice.
- You want to cook the sausage until it gets nice and glazy and caramelized.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This makes a great dinner over a bed of rice.
- You can use your favorite sausage for this, andouille would be great or even turkey smoked sausage.
- You can use honey instead of brown sugar if you like.
