Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390F. Wash and dry the mushrooms from excess moisture, and cut large mushrooms into 2-4 parts. Transfer to a medium bowl.
- Add salt, spices, and olive oil to the mushrooms.
- Mix everything thoroughly so that each piece of mushroom is evenly coated.
- Put the mushrooms in the air fryer basket in one or two layers. Fry at 390F for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, shake the air fryer basket a few times while stirring the mushrooms. Cook for 3 more minutes.
Notes
- Serve mushrooms hot or warm with fresh herbs.
- Avoid rinsing the mushrooms under water, as they can absorb moisture and become soggy. Once your mushrooms are clean, trim off any tough or woody stems.
- Remember, you can always get creative with your seasonings, but be sure not to overpower the natural taste of the mushrooms!
- One common mistake when cooking with an air fryer is overcrowding the basket, leading to uneven cooking. Make sure there is room for the air to circulate.
