Instructions

  1. Heat the milk. Use an electric frother to steam the milk until warm and frothy, or heat it in a saucepan over medium heat until nearly simmering, whisking until frothy.
  2. Mix the ingredients. In a heatproof mug, combine turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and sweetener. Pour the steamed milk (leaving the foam out) into the mug and stir.
  3. Top with the foam and give it a quick stir. You can also use a handheld frothing wand to froth the milk.
  4. Taste and adjust. Taste the golden latte and add more sweetener if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use a saucepan to heat the milk if you don’t have a frother. To do this, heat it over medium heat until nearly simmering and then whisk it until frothy. Take care not to burn it.
  • Once you add the milk and froth, you can use a handheld frothing wand to fluff it up even more.
  • If you’re brand new to making turmeric lattes, use a lighter portion of the turmeric powder. As your taste buds adjust, work your way up to a full teaspoon.
