Oven Roasted Cauliflower Recipe

The easiest (and the only) oven Roasted Cauliflower recipe you'll ever need! So crispy, garlicky, and cheesy, and done in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower chopped into thin florets, see note
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese see note
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Stir together salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a large bowl, toss cauliflower and olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder over cauliflower and toss well.
  5. Add parmesan cheese and toss well to coat the cauliflower.
  6. Transfer to a lightly greased baking sheet (see note).
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until cauliflower is easily pierced with a fork and is golden brown on the edges. Serve immediately - enjoy!

Notes

  • Chopping the cauliflower: I like to chop into florets, then chop individual florets in half lengthwise to create a nice flat, broad side to lay flat on the sheet pan. 
  • Parmesan cheese: I usually recommend freshly grated parmesan cheese, but in this recipe I love to use the pre-grated parmesan cheese that comes in the shaker can - it creates such a nice crispy, golden crust on the cauliflower.
  • Crispy cauliflower: for a a crispier crust on the cauliflower, line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
