Maple Glazed Salmon

This recipe makes for a super intensely flavored, sweet, and sticky salmon that works perfect as a weeknight meal.

Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
- 1 pinch ground ginger
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions
- In a small shallow glass baking dish, mix the maple syrup, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and pepper.
- Add the salmon to the maple sugar mixture and turn to coat the salmon well.
- Cover the dish, and marinate salmon on the counter for 30 minutes, turning once or twice.
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven, and bake salmon uncovered 15-20 minutes, basting with the sauce from the bottom of the pan once or twice during baking.
- Serve with a vegetable like asparagus to complete the dish!
