  • 1 cup milk of choice dairy-free for vegan option
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 3 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 4 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup agave or honey

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add the chia seeds, milk, cacao powder, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Mix until they are well combined
  2. Next, divide the mixture into two jars or a container with a lid. Place in the fridge to set for at least 2-4 hours or overnight.
  3. Top the jars with the toppings of your choice like melted peanut butter, crushed peanuts, and chocolate chips. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Store the chia pudding in a mason jar or other airtight container in the fridge. If it thickens too much for your liking, add a bit more milk to loosen it up. Also, if you don't like it super cold, let it sit at room temperature for about 20 to 30 minutes before eating.
  • Chia pudding also freezes well. Freeze individual portions in freezer-safe containers for up to 1 month. Thaw in the fridge for 6-7 hours or overnight before enjoying.
